I have some very fond memories of Robert Lerner. He taught some journalism classes around 1973/1974 at the University of Wisconsin--Whitewater, a program in which I was enrolled. He had a lasting impact on my career, teaching me that journalism was an honorable and worthwhile profession. His classes were colorful and engaging. He had many great stories, which he was happy to share with his students. I am truly sorry to learn of his passing...May Almighty God bless the memories you have of your father...
