Obituary of John Barnthouse

BARNTHOUSE, John Oliver, Jr. age 60 of Lebanon, Ohio formerly ot Tampa, Florida passed peacefully Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Ohio with his family by his side. Born May 2, 1950 in Hamilton, Ohio, John was the son of John Oliver and Billie Lovonia (Mertz) Barnthouse and was a loving and caring father and grandfather. John was a retired roofer by trade and enjoyed fishing, playing poker and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his father, John leaves behind his mother Billie (Mertz) Barnthouse of Havelock, North Carolina; son John W. (Jenny) Barnthouse of Morrow, Ohio; daughters Pam (Joseph) Bosley of Lebanon, Ohio, Angela (Danny) Pagett of Lynchburg, Ohio and Ann Marie (Billy) Roi of Lynchburg, Ohio; brothers Mike (Nedra) Barnthouse of Havelock, North Carolina and David (Jan) Barnthouse of Prattville, Alabama; sister Billie Katherine "Kathy" (Gary) Guenther of St. Augustine, Florida; grandchildren Patience, Symba, Beverly, Josh, Luci, Danielle, Lacey, Johnny, Katelyn, Cage and Carter; great-grandchildren Isabella and Hailey, his special k-9 companion Amber and many other family members and friends. A gathering of family and friends is being planned and will be announced at a later time.
