Obituary of Stella Atkinson

ATKINSON, Stella Marie age 95 of Morrow, Ohio passed peacefully Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Garden Manor Extended Care Center with her family by her side. Born October 19, 1915 in Middletown, Ohio, Marie was the daughter of Asa and Catherine (Teckemeyer) Peck and one of twelve children. Marie was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parent, husband Paul Atkinson in 2010, brothers Albert, Walter, Chester, Bob and Earl and sister Dorothy Wilder; Marie leaves behind her loving children Ronald (Linda) Atkinson of Grand Rapids, Michigan and daughter Kathy Derickson of Seven Mile, Ohio; brother Wilbur Peck; sisters Betty, Mary, Helen and Kathleen; grandchildren Robin, Pamela and Andrew; nine great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Friday evening, April 1, 2011 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 10:00am at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Tufts officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio.
