Obituary of Edward Bess

BESS, Edward J. age 66 of Blanchester, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Hospice of Cincinnati East with his family by his side. Born July 21, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Edward was the son of Archie and Louise Bess, a truck driver for Plaineville Concrete and enjoyed Nascar Racing. Preceded in death by his father, Edward leaves behind his loving wife Carolyn (Sandlin) Bess of Blanchester, Ohio; sons Edward of Tennessee, Eric of Blanchester, Evan of Franklin and Erinn of Cincinnati; daughter Laura Smith of Cincinnati; brother Robert Bess of Toledo, Ohio; sister Patricia Carter of Florida; thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Wednesday evening March 16, 2011 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 12:00pm at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
