Obituary of George Bishop

BISHOP, George R., Sr. `Ronnie` age 61 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Hospice of Cincinnati after a long battle with cancer. Born August 15, 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of John Butler and Katheryn McPhail and was retired from the Overly Hautz Motor Base Company in Lebanon, Ohio. Ronnie was a loving and caring husband, dad and grandpa who enjoyed motorcycles, cars and his woodworking. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Teresa Bishop; Ronnie leaves behind his loving wife Pamela J. (Ridout) Bishop of Lebanon, Ohio; son George R. `Ronnie` Bishop, Jr. of Maryland; daughter Lisa Forace (Mike) of Delaware; step-son Jeremiah Knight of Mason, Ohio and step-daughter Nicole Brown of Maineville, Ohio; brothers Calvin and Joe Bishop of Maryland; sisters Vickie Bishop, Joyce Weisenberger, Patsy Howard, Cheryl Colberson and Tina Bishop; grandson Ethan Bishop; granddaughters Karrington Olivia Jackson and Aleesia Jean Jackson and many other family members, friends and neighbors. Friends may call on the family Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 11:00am until 12:30pm at the STINE Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 12:30pm with Pastor Steve Tufts officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
