Obituary of Lula Crase

CRASE, Lula Mae (nee Pottorf) age 69 of Blanchester, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio. Born May 15, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio, Lula was the daughter of Andrew and Agnes (King) Pottorf and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Lula was a dedicated LPN and worked for the Pine Crest Nursing Center in Morrow, Ohio for more than 40 years. Preceded in death by her parents and son Ray Crase, Jr., Lula leaves behind her loving husband of 51 years Ray Rexford Crase of Blanchester, Ohio; son Joseph (Jennifer) Crase of Morrow, Ohio; daughters Kathy Adkins and Virginia (Thomas) Ehling both of South Lebanon, Ohio and Nanette (Terry) Thaurig of Blanchester, Ohio; seventeen grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Wednesday evening, February 1, 2012 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 11:00am with Reverend Lester Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
