Obituary of Baxter Baker

BAKER, Baxter age 81 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully January 16, 2015 at the Dayton VA Medical Center . Born May 25, 1933 in Hazard, Kentucky; Baxter was the son of Ance and Opha (Grigsby) Baker and was a loving father, brother and grandfather. Baxter was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran stationed on the USS. Toledo and a retired clerk from the Aeronca Corporation. Preceded in death by his parents, son Anthony Baker in 2011, daughter Carla Baker in 2014; four brothers and two sisters; Baxter leaves behind his loving children Gary (Cathy) Baker of Fairfield, Ohio; Linda (Scott) Hathaway and Cheryl Ann Baker both of Franklin, Ohio; mother of his children Cheryl Baker of Franklin, Ohio; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Monday, January 26, 2015 at 12:00pm at the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon with Rev. Dr. Stuart Snow officiating.
