Obituary of William Dye

DYE, William Clay age 79 of Palmetto, Florida and formerly of Warren County, Ohio passed peacefully January 8, 2015 at his residence with his family by his side. Born September 29, 1935 in Fostoria, Ohio, William "Bill" was the son of Melvin and Dorothy (Lambert) Dye and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Bill served his country proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a retired welder with the General Electric Company, a Past Exalted Ruler of the Lebanon B.P.O.E. #422 and enjoyed playing golf and flying model airplanes. Preceded in death by his parents, Bill leaves behind his loving wife Marilyn (Roberts) Dye of Palmetto, Florida, sons Jon (April) Dye of Blanchester, Ohio and William Scott Dye of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Lisa (Greg) Harris of Oregonia, Ohio and Laura (Robert) Wilson of Ripley, Ohio; step-daughter Kimberly (Rick) Emery of Toledo, Ohio; sister Rosemary Silfven of Lebanon, Ohio; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2:00pm with Dr. Reverend Stuart Snow officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Turtlecreek Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
