Obituary of Lowell Johnson

JOHNSON, Lowell age 76 of Waynesville, Ohio passed peacefully Monday evening, January 12, 2015 at the Southview Medical Center in Centerville, Ohio. Born August 7, 1938 in Morgan County, Kentucky, Lowell was the son of Adlia and Loulia (Pelfrey) Johnson and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Lowell was a retired master carpenter, a member of the Masonic Lodge of Elk Fork, Kentucky, enjoyed woodworking, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Phyllis Lamb and sister Stella McGuire, Lowell leaves behind his loving daughters Rebecca Sue (Donny) Allen of Waynesville, Ohio, Patricia Ann (Michael) Long of Wilmington, Ohio and Tenna Johnson of West Chester, Ohio; sisters Mary (Wardie) Gibson of West Liberty, Kentucky, Mildred Dalton of Lebanon, Ohio, Pauline Jenkins of Salyersvulle, Kentucky and Jean Pennix of West Liberty, Kentucky; grandchildren LaCee, Wyatt, Levi, Stevenson, Johnathan and Alexander and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, January 16, 2015 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at the Dodds Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be held at the church at 12:00pm with Pastor Bill Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Cemetery, Corwin, Ohio.
