Obituary of Gerald Chess

CHESS, Gerald age 67 of Ocklawaha, Florida passed peacefully Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash. Born July 2, 1947 in Princeton, West Virginia, Gerald was the son of Daymon and Mary (Wheeler) Chess and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Gerald was retired from the Century Link Company and a member of the Kings Point Church of God in Maineville. Gerald leaves behind his loving wife of 32 years Wilma (nee Mitchell) Chess, children Jerry (Valarie) Chess of Cleveland, Tennessee, Robert (Angela) Chess of Lebanon, Ohio, Michael Gilbert of Cincinnati, Ohio and April Wagner of Morrow, Ohio; brothers Donald (Pam) Chess of Mason, Ohio and Billy Chess of Charleston, West Virginia; sister Becky (Wesley) LeMaster of Winchester, Virginia; grandchildren Miranda, Chelsea, Krysta, Zach, Tanner, Anthony, Megan, Josie and Janie and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Kings Point Church of God. A memorial service will be held at the church at 1:00pm with Pastor Randy Ballard officiating. Burial will be in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
