Obituary of Ada Lewis

LEWIS, Ada Lee (nee McIntosh) age 77 of Lebanon, Ohio and formerly of Harlan and Hamilton Township, passed peacefully Sunday, January 22, 2012 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born February 5, 1934 in Cozaddale, Ohio, Ada was the daughter of Beckham and Ophelia (Kilburn) McIntosh and a member of Morrow Baptist Church and a Sunday School teacher at the South Lebanon Baptist Church. Ada was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a friend to all who knew her. Preceded in death by her parents and brothers Dorsey and Kenneth McIntosh; Ada leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years Harold Lewis of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Barbara Tucker of Lebanon, Ohio, Lisa Harris of Blanchester, Ohio and Sue Johnson of South Lebanon, Ohio; brother Thomas Kelly Edna) McIntosh of Fairfield, Ohio; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Wednesday evening January 25, 2012 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 7:00pm with Reverend Steve Cole and Brother Dan Bryant officiating. Burial will be in the Edwardsville Cemetery, Pleasant Plain, Ohio.
