Obituary of Laura Meadors

MEADORS, Laura (nee Wilson) age 81 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday morning, December 2, 2014 at the Pine Crest Nursing Care Center. Born July 18, 1933 in Strunk, Kentucky, Laura was the daughter of Alex and Elsie (Stephens) Wilson and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandother. Laura loved her family and friends, playing bingo and crocheting. Laura touched the lives of many children in Warren County as a childcare provider and will be missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her parents, son Christopher Meadors and sisters Mildred Anderson, Louise Moore and Juanita Davenport, Laura leaves behind her loving husband of 60 years Howard Meadors of South Lebanon, Ohio; son Larry (Michelle) Meadors of Tampa, Florida, daughter Barbara Carol (Edsel) Huddleson of Morrow, Ohio; brother Rick (Layne) Wilson of Pine Knot, Kentucky,; grandchildren Brandon Meadors, Brian (Amy) Huddleson and Eric (Amanda) Huddleson; great grandchildren Zack Meadors, Nick Meadors, Lucian Huddleson, Drew, T.J., Laila Huddleson, Ashley, Austin and Marshall Meadors: great great grandchildren Carter and Hayden Meadors; special friend Lee Ann Davy and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on the family Friday, December 5, 2014 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:00am with Reverend Ronnie Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
