Obituary of Steve Shepherd

SHEPHERD, Steve B. age 69 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday evening, January 17, 2012 at Hospice of Cincinnati with his family by his side. Born September 16, 1942 in Oneida, Kentucky, Steve was the son of Willard and Floy (McQueen) Shepherd and a retired electrician from the General Electric Company. Steve was a proud U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War and a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. In his spare time, Steve enjoyed golfing at Holly Hills Golf Course and most of all enjoyed spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents and son Rex Shepherd; Steve leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years Gayle (Mason) Shepherd of South Lebanon, Ohio; son Shea (Jane) Shepherd of South Lebanon, Ohio; daughter Serena Baker of South Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Nathan, Nikki, Scott, Jasmine, Shea T. and Sabin and one great-grandchild - Meika. Friends may call on the family Saturday afternoon January 21, 2012 from 4:00pm until 5:30pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home.. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 5:30pm with Pastor Steve Tufts officiating.
