Obituary of Franklin Osborne

OSBORNE, Franklin D. Sr. age 81 of Middletown, Ohio and formerly of Waynesville, Ohio, passed peacefully Sunday morning, November 16, 2014 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. Born May 3, 1933 in Winchester, Kentucky, Franklin was the son of James and Mazzie (Carmine) Osborne and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Franklin was retired from the Gemeral Motors Corporation and was a member of the United Auto Workers Union. Franklin enjoyed farming when he lived in Waynesville having raised cattle on the family farm. Preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Norma Lee Osborne and brothers Foster, James and Henry Osborne; Franklin leaves behind his loving children Ellis "Ronnie" (Cindy) Osborne of Franklin, Ohio, Franklin (Ginger) Osborne, Jr. of Waynesville, Ohio, Dallas Osborne of Dayton, Ohio and Mazzie Osborne of Middletown, Ohio; sister Mary (Joseph) Keene of Trenton, Ohio; grandchildren Lonnie James Biddle, Tiffany Leegale Osborne, Michael Covey and Jeremy Osborne; six great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 11am until 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1pm with burial to follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
