Obituary of Franklin Starrett

STARRETT, Franklin R. age 78 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday morning, November 15, 2014 at Loveland Health Care with his family by his side. Born August 13, 1936 in Kentucky, Franklin was the son of Elmer and Dorothy Mae (Davenport) Starrett and was a loving and devoted husband and father. Franklin was a retired heavy equipment worker and a member of the Church of the Nazarene of South Lebanon, Ohio. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Elmer Lee and Bill Starrett and sisters Bessie Boggs and Eleanor Hornsby; Franklin leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years Betty (Boyd) Starrett and daughter Kimberly Starrett both of South Lebanon, Ohio; sisters Mary Belle (Sonny) Becraft of Georgetown, Ohio, Sharon (J.C. ) McCray of Georgetown, Ohio; Barbara Crawford of Higginsport, Ohio, Sue (Lowell) Davis of Ripley, Ohio and Linda (Eldon) O'Cull and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with Gary O'Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
