Obituary of Shelby Dyer

DYER, Shelby Jennings Jr. age 79 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Monday morning, November 10, 2014 at the Atrium Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born January 11, 1935 in Braeholm, West Virginia, Shelby was the son of Shelby and Tokie (Blevins) Dyer and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Shelby was retired from the U.S. Navy and enjoyed the great outdoors fishing, hunting and gardening and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents, Shelby leaves behin his loving wife Darlene (Adkins) Dyer; sons Mike (Julia), Mark (Karen) and Brian (Tami) Dyer and daughter Robin Dyer; one brother, 2 sisters, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 10:00am until 11:00am at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00am with Reverend Dr. Stuart Snow officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
