Obituary of Carrie HIll
HILL, Carrie L. (nee Clark) age 91 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Heritage Springs in West Chester, Ohio. Born July 15, 1923 in Warren County, Ohio, Carrie was the daughter of Edward and Elsie (Brinkmeyer) Clark and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Carrie was a graduate of Kings High School, Lebanon United Methodist Church, the Oregonia Homemaker's Club and the Ohio State Campground Association. Together, Carrie and her late husband, Oliver Hill, founded the Cedarbrook Campground located on Franklin Road in Lebanon, Ohio and managed it for many years. Preceded in death by her loving husband Oliver Hill in 1998, brothers Varel and Robert Clark and sisters Ruth Manning and Velma Clark; Carrie leaves behind her loving children Roger (Mary Cardinal) HIll of Honesdale, Pennsylvania, Patircia (Charles) Anglin of Kentucky, Katherine (Alan) Blevins of Florida and Marilyn (Bret) Bodeker of Cincinnati, Ohio; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine urn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with burial to follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
The family appreciates memorial donations that are directed to the Lebanon United Methodist Church Building Fund or Hospice of Cincinnati.
