Obituary of Ray Barrett

BARRETT, Ray age 65 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Bethesda North Hospital. Born September 5, 1949 in Clay County, Kentucky, Ray was the son of Lawrence and Margie (McIntosh) Barrett and was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him. Ray was known for his warm and generous spirit, his love of world traveling, the arts and his family. Ray was an educator, a former member of the Kings Mills Board of Education, a member of the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon and a 32nd degree Masonic Lodge Member in Morrow, Ohio. Preceded in death by his father and brother James Michael Barrett, Ray leaves behind his loving mother Margie Marie Barrett of South Lebanon, Ohio; brother Richard (Linda) Barrett of Lebanon, Ohio and sister Mary (Larry) Beighle of Mason, Ohio; nieces Erica Rae Kendrick, Krista Dane and Carrie Farmer-Rasmussen; eight great-nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, October 29, 2014 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon with Pastor David Frasure officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
