Obituary of Larry McComas

McComas, Larry Michael, 68, of Kings Mills, died Oct. 17. He was born in Lebanon, Aug. 8, 1946, the son of Larry Michael & Arley Fern (Terry) McComas. Larry was a 1964 graduate of Kings Mills High School. He had worked at Fernald and retired from Home Depot's distribution center in Monroe. He loved the blues, collecting Pepsi memorabilia and metal signs, NASCAR racing, and old cars, especially his 1939 Chevy. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Lynn McComas of Amelia; his grandson Landon Curtis Gunter; his sisters Diana Sue (Terry) Eshleman of Lebanon and Sandra Lee (Paul) Johnston of Milford; nephews Michael Eshleman and Adam Johnston; niece Deborah Gray; aunts Gladys McComas, Jean McComas, Jo McComas, and Loretta Terry. His brother Paul died in 2013. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 10:00am until 11:00am at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home with Pastor Stuart Snow officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
