Obituary of Martha Snyder

SNYDER, Martha "Marty" (nee Montgomery) age 70 of Morrow, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday evening, October 7, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born March 6, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio, Marty was the daughter of Jim and Juanita (Rayburn) Montgomery and a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Marty was a 1962 graduate of Little Miami High School, a member of the Lebanon Eastern Star, Lebanon Garden Club, Morrow V.F. W., a paramedic with Turtlecreek Township EMS and a retired Registered Nurse with 30 years of dedicated service to Kettering Medical Center. Preceded in death by her parents, Marty leaves behind her sons Rick (Nora) Snyder of Lebanon, Ohio and James (Renee) Snyder of Jamestown, Ohio, daughter Ann Cole of Morrow, Ohio; brother Tom (Doris) Montgomery of Harrison, Ohio and grandchildren Jason Stone, Danielle Snyder, Kyle Snyder, Dustin Cole and Meghan Snyder. Calling hours will be held Sunday evening, October 12, 2014 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday, October 13, 2014 at 1:00pm with Pastor Steve Tufts officiating. Burial will follow in the Edwardsville Cemetery.
