Obituary of David Oberle

OBERLE, David Vincent age 85 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Monday morning, September 15, 2014 at HIllspring Health Care in Springboro, Ohio. Born July 7, 1929 in Montgomery, Ohio, David was the son of Charles and Amelia (Etzkorn) Oberle and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. David was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and the Korean War and worked for the Dave Steel Corporation in Lebanon for 29 years. David was a VIP of Cowan Lake State Park and a member of the Veteran's 747 Club at the Otterbein Retirement Community. Preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Amelia E. (Urton) Oberle; brothers Frank, Walter, Charles and George Oberle and sisters Marjorie, Clara, Gertrude and "Sissy" Amelia; David leaves behind his loving children Darrell (Sherry) Urton of Springboro, Ohio, David R. (Patty) Oberle of Mason, Ohio and George (Connie) Oberle of Lebanon, Ohio and Amy Jones and Martha Reed both of Arizona; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday evening, September 19, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:30pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 10:00am at the funeral home with Reverend Floyd Glick officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Morrow Cemetery, Morrow, Ohio.
