Obituary of Charles Tietmeyer

TIETMEYER, Charles E. age 90 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born September 5, 1921 in Waynesville, Ohio, Charles was the son of Frank and Emma (Ellis) Tietmeyer and was a retired maintenance worker with the Lebanon City Schools and Otterbein Retirement Community. Charles was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a loving husband, father and grandfather. Preceded in death by his parents and wife Jean (Pressler) Tietmeyer; Charles leaves behind his son Mike Tietmeyer of Wyoming and daughter Sue Collins of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Danielle Collins- Friesen and Chad Tietmeyer; two great-grandchildren and one sister Erma Helen Garrison of Blanchester, Ohio. Friends may call on the family Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with Pastor Steve Tufts officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Cemetery, Corwin, Ohio.
