Obituary of Edward Roberts

ROBERTS, Edward L. "Ed" age 72 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at his residence. Born September 15, 1941 in Booneville, Kentucky, Ed was the son of Roscoe and Audrey (Wyrick) Roberts and was retired from General Motors in Kettering where he was a supervisor. Ed was also the former owner/operator of the Century 21 Realty in Lebanon and had also worked for Sibcy Cline for 15 years. Ed was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, attended the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon and was a member of the Dayton Masonic Lodge. Preceded in death by his parents, son Keith Roberts,grandson Keith Roberts, Jr.; brothers Verlon, Chester, Cecil and Danny and sisters Eunice Spence, Irma Withrow and Betty Gay; Ed leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years Kathy (Murphy) Roberts of Lebanon, Ohio; daughter Kim (Darren) Morsie of Oregonia, Ohio; brother Clarence (Jo) Roberts of Kentucky; grandchildren Brandon and Kevin Morsie; great-grandchildren Jacey Roberts and Emma Morsie and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Friday evening, September 5, 2014 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 12:00pm with Pastor Steve Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Turtlecreek Cemetery, 2505 North State Route 48, Lebanon, Ohio.
