Obituary of Betty Lyden

LYDEN, Betty M. (nee Muehl) age 90 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the Otterbein Retirement Community. Born December 23, 1923 in Waukegan, Wisconsin, Betty was the daughter of Willard Leroy and Frieda (Miller) Muehl and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Betty was a retired teacher and an active member of the Otterbein Retirement Community. Preceded in death by her parents and husband James W. "Jack" Lyden, Betty leaves behind her loving children Dr. Linda Lyden of Nanaimo, B.C., Canada, Dr. William Lyden of Niles, Michigan, Scott Lyden of Aurora, Illinois and Dr. Christopher Lyden of Kilauea, Hawaii. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 1:30pm in the Otterbein Retirement Chapel with Reverend Barbara Schnecker officiating. Interment will be in the Otterbein Cemetery.
