Obituary of Rose Braido

BRAIDO, Rose Rita (nee Whitman) age 60 of Lebanon, Ohio and formerly of El Paso, Texas passed peacefully Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Bethesda Arrowsprings in Lebanon, Ohio. Born November 23, 1953 in Mount Olive, North Carolina, Rose was the daughter of Johnny B. and Betty Ann (Caulder) Whitman and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Rose lived most of her life in El Paso, Texas and came to Lebanon, Ohio to be close to her children and grandchildren in 2001. Rose served her country proudly in the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Johnny B. Whitman, Jr. and Audrey Whitman-Monahan; Rose leaves behind her loving husband Kenneth R. "Kenny" Braido of Lebanon, Ohio; son Jon Payne of Lebanon, Ohio; daughter Jacinda L. (Sean) Wickman of Lebanon, Ohio; sisters Phyllis Chavez of Lebanon, Ohio, Stella Whitman of El Paso, Texas, Sheila Ewers of Mount Olive, North Carolina, Felicia Johnson of Lebanon, Ohio and Tina Whitman of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Harleigh and Logan Wickman and many other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 2:00pm until 4:30pm at the Heritage Baptist Church, Lebanon.
