Obituary of Elaine Coffman

COFFMAN, Elaine (nee Hardy) age 63 of Waynesville, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday evening, July 29, 2014 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties with her family by her side. Born December 30, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio, Elaine was the daughter of Thomas Wass and Doris Jean (Helsinger) Hardy and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Elaine was a lifelong resident of Warren County, a 1969 graduate of Lebanon High School, a member of the Dodds Pentecostal Church and had worked at the Lebanon Dairy Queen and Cedar City Bakery. Preceded in death by her father, Thomas Wass Hardy, Elaine leaves behind her loving husband Harold Coffman of Waynesville, Ohio; sons Wesley Coffman of Waynesville, Ohio, Thomas Coffman of Florida and Rodney Coffman of Kentucky; daughter Shannon (Robert) Callahan of Franklin, Ohio; mother Doris Jean Stephenson; brothers Doug (Linda) Hardy of Morrow, Ohio and Curtis (Sharon) Hardy of Lebanon, Ohio; sisters Susan (David) Reed of Delaware and Joanne Ingram of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Caitlin, Savannah, Austin & Jessica Callahan and Kyle and Megan Coffman and one great-grandchild Lillie Stull. The family will receive friends Friday evening, August 1, 2014 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Dodds Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:00am at the church with Pastor Bill Lamb and Pastor Gary Coffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Cemetery, Corwin, Ohio. The family appreciates memorial donations that are directed to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation or Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.
