Obituary of Wendell King

KING. Wendell Thomas age 57 of Mt. Vernon, Ohio and formerly of Lebanon, Ohio passed unexpectedly Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at his residence. Born May 9, 1957 in Virginia, Minnesota, Wendell was the son of Thomas Dudley "Buddy" and Irene Mildred (Ornie) King and was a loving son, father and grandfather. Wendell was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran and a longtime resident of Lebanon, Ohio before relocating in Mt. Vernon. Preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandmother Earlene Lynn in 2011 and brothers Jimmy and Robert King, Wendell leaves behind his sons Jeremy King of Lebanon, Ohio and Brian (Jennifer) King of Utica, Ohio; grandchildren Baylie and Madison King and many other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 1:ppm until 3:00pm at the West Side Christian Church located at the corner of Rt. 123 and Hart Road in Lebanon.
