Obituary of Joan Traylor

TRAYLOR, Joan (nee Chapman) age 82 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Sunday evening, June 22, 2014 at Christ Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born August 8, 1931 in Kings Mills, Ohio, Joan was the daughter of Stanley and Mary (Graham) Chapman and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Joan was a lifelong resident of the Warren County area, a graduate of Kings High School, a former manager of Springtime Bulb Farms and a member of Urbancrest Baptist Church. Joan enjoyed attending her Sunday School classes, watching Dancing with the Stars, the Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune but most of all spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband William Russell Traylor in 2010 and son Andrew R. Traylor in 1978; Joan leaves behind her daughter Jody (Donnie) Glass of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Jason (Jennifer) Traylor, Nicholas Elder and Rachel Elder and great grandchildren Jackson and Adeline Elder. Calling hours will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 7:00pm with Reverend Tom Pendergrass officiating. Burial will be held Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11:00am in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
