Obituary of Thelma Langdon

LANGDON, Thelma (nee Mills) age 74 of Morrow, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Bethesda Arrowsprings with her family by her side. Born May 4, 1940 in Bright Shade, Kentucky, Thelma was the daughter of Jack and Eva (Smith) Mills and was a retired grade school teacher with Kings Local Schools. Thelma was a member of the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon, Ohio, a well known realtor in the Warren County area for many years and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Chester Mills, Jr and Carl Mills, Thelma leaves behind her loving husband of 49 years Clarence E. Langdon of Morrow, Ohio,, son Gary (Rhadene) Langdon of Lebanon, Ohio; daughter Lisa (Barry) Riley of Morrow, Ohio; sisters Bobbie Jean (Otto) Messer and Donna Jackson all of Kentucky; grandchildren Austin and Mollie Langdon and Drake Riley and many other family members and friends. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the church at 7:00pm with Pastor David Frasure officiating. Graveside committal services will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11:30am in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
