Obituary of Irene Bailey
BAILEY, Irene (nee Pugh) age 86 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday evening, May 17, 2014 at the Mount Pleasant Retirement Village in Monroe with her family by her side. Born March 13, 1928 in Hazard, Kentucky, Irene was a twin daughter of Robert J. and Edith (Stacey) Pugh and had worked as a spot welder for the RCA Corporation. Irene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her and a member of the Victory Pentecostal Tabernacle. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Clifford C. Bailey, Sr., son James D. Bailey, brothers John, Lewis, Glen and Tommy Pugh, sisters Mary Heatherly, Faye Hagins and her twin sister Jean Moore and sister-inl-law Mallie Pugh; Irene leaves behind her loving son Clifford C. (Tina) Bailey, Jr. of Lebanon, Ohio; brother Edgar (Sarah) Pugh of Ashland, Kentucky, sister Doris (Lynn) Melton of Hazard, Kentucky and sister-in-laws Edna and Banzil Pugh; grandchildren Michael K. Bailey of Monroe, Ohio, James Steven Bailey of Columbus, Ohio, Christopher Lee Bailey of Blanchester, Ohio and Tammy Renee Kovacs of Springboro, Ohio; great-grandchildren Stephanie, Dalton, Mia and Joseph Bailey and Olivia Paige and Nicholas David Kovacs and many other family members and friends.
Friends may call on the family Tuesday evening, May 20, 2014 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 11:00am at the Victory Pentecostal Tabernacle located at 7460 Morris Road, Hamilton, Ohio with Reverend Woody Jackson and Reverend Mike Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
