Obituary of George Eubank

EUBANK, George Muncie age 72 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday morning, April 22, 2014 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash. Born August 6, 1941 in Preble County, Ohio, George was the son of George H. and Evalee (Stocker) Eubank and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him. George was a proud U.S.. Air Force Veteran, a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge #55 and Head Deacon at Silvergrove Baptist Church. George was known for his generous and kind-hearted nature and was a 4 year volunteer for Destiny Hospice and the Franklin Food Pantry. George served the Lord by visiting members of Silvergrove Baptist Church and delivering CD copies of services for those unable to attend. Preceded in death by his parents, George leaves behind his loving wife of 21 years Faye (Presley) Eubank of Lebanon, Ohio; son Greg Eubank of Greenville, Ohio; daughters Cindy Gibbs of South Lebanon, Ohio and Diana Williams of Lebanon, Ohio; sisters Glenna (Jerry) Batten of Arcanum,. Ohio, Virginia Henson of Clintonville, West Virginia, Lois Delk of Greenville, Ohio and Sue (Bud) Best of Darke County, Ohio; grandchildren Chris, Danny and Charlie, great-grandson Bryce, many nieces and nephews and special friends Jim and Sally Hawley, Mark Roberts, Wendell Amburgy, Bob Taylor and Mike Stine. Friends may call on the family Thursday evening, April 24, 2014 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. A Masonic Service will be held at the funeral home at 7:45pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 25, 2014 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Tufts officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery.
