Obituary of Ruth Poe

POE, Ruth Mildred (nee Wilson) age 80 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Friday, April 4, 2014. Born July 29, 1933 in Wilmington, Ohio, Ruth was the daughter of Ernest and Helen (Simpson) Wilson and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Ruth had worked for Fahlgren and Ferris (an advertising firm in Cincinnati) and retired from General Electric in Evendale. Ruth was a member of the Lebanon Order of Eastern Star and she and her husband were former owners of the Best Cafe in Lebanon, Ohio during the 1970's. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Poe in 1993, brothers Floyd "Red" and Franklin Wilson and sister Verna Griggs; Ruth leaves behind her children Peggy Poe and Robert (Martina) Poe , grandchildren Jennifer and Austin Poe and great-grandson Adrien Poe and great-granddaughter Siena Maria Poe all of Lebanon, Ohio. Receiving of friends will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with Pastor Steve Tufts officiating. Burial ill follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
