Obituary of Lindsey Hatton
HATTON, Lindsey E. "Gene" age 80 of Waynesville, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday morning, April 3, 2014 at the Quaker Heights Care Community. Born June 23, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio, Lindsey was the son of General Lawton and Florence (Tripp) Hatton and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Lindsey was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran serving from January 1952 until January 1956 and again from April 1960 - March 1964 and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion. From 1979 until 1988, Lindsey was employed with the Warren County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Sheriff. Preceded in death by his parents, Lindsey leaves behind his loving wife Betty Ann (West) Hatton of Waynesville, Ohio; daughters Debbie (Steve) Davis of Waynesville, Ohio, Doris (Dave) Beeman of Covington, Ohio, Brenda Hatton of Miamisburg, Ohio, Esther (Blair) Minton of Bourbannais, Illinois and Deanna (Stephen) Malone of Lebanon, Ohio;;sons Terry (Margie) Milam Sr. of Jacksonville, Florida and Mike Milam of Fairfield, Ohio; grandchildren Kayla and Blair Huffman, Nathaniel and Jordan Davis, Kristina Thompson, Jesse (Sherry) Malone, Rachel (Derek) West, L.T. , Devon and Tawney Milam and Megan Campbell; great-grandchildren Austin and Nathan West, Benjamin Duncan, Elijha and Chloe Milam, Kasyn Cook, Lucy and Daxon Malone, Cole, Carley and Cassidy James; sisters Dottie Sandefur and Betty Kress and many other family members and friends.
Receiving of friends will be held Monday, April 7, 2014 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with Pastor Rose officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Miami Cemetery, Corwin, Ohio.
