Obituary of Stella Short

SHORT, Stella (nee Puckett) age 84 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Friday, March 28, 2014 at her resdience. Born March 5, 1930 in Middletown, Ohio, Stella was the daughter of Dewey and Dora Lee (Brewer) Puckett and was a loving mom and grandma. Stella was a member of the Kings Point Church of God. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Geurtley Short, son Bill Halcomb and sister Alma Butler; Stella leaves behind her loving daughter Tammy (Gary) Stevens of Lebanon, Ohio, daughter-in-law Tobhe Halcomb of Florida, sisters Mary Morris and Shirley Combs both of Morrow, Ohio and Jessie Norman of South Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Josh (Tiffany) Stevens, Mark Halcomb and Valarie Madden; great-grandchildren Kennedy and Madison Stevens, Natalie, Mathew and Clayton Halcomb and Ashley, Amanda, Abby and Samantha Madden and many other family members and friends. Receiving of friends will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with Reverend Orville Robinson and Pastor Randy Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
