Obituary of Ralph Armold

ARMOLD, Ralph Rex age 78 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, December 31, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. Born October 17, 1933 in New Paris, Ohio, Ralph was the son of Herman and Thelma (Smith) Armold and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all who knew him. Ralph recently retired from the Lebanon City Schools July 1, 2011 and also repaired RV's throughout Warren County for many years. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers Larry Lee and Forest Ray Armold; Ralph leaves behind his best fried and wife of 55 years Peggy Jo (Bailey) Armold of Lebanon, Ohio; sons David Rex, Kevin Joe and Steven C. Armold all of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Michael Jo, Brittany Marie and Tara Lynn; great-grandchildren Myra Mae and Morgan Jo Armold, Kylie Marie and Willard Konrad Roberts all of Lebanon, Ohio and brothers Everett Eugene Armold, Robert C. Armold of Lebanon, Ohio and John O. Armold of Frostproof, Florida,; sister Candy Parks of Columbus area and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 7:00pm Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the Bethany United Church of Christ, 1026 South State Route 123, Lebanon, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at the church at 7:00pm. As a selfless and generous act, Mr. Armold donated his body to the U.C. College of Medicine for Medical Research.
