Obituary of Barbara Taylor

TAYLOR, Barbara J. (nee Fields) age 78 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday evening, March 5, 2014 at Bethesda Arrowsprings. Born May 10, 1935 in Harlan County, Kentucky, Barbara was the daughter of Hassel and Evelyn (Smith) Fields and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Barbara enjoyed cooking, going to church and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul E. Taylor in 2008 and son Paul E. Taylor, Jr.; Barbara leaves behind her loving children David Taylor of Middletown, Ohio, Debrah Hensley and Karen Maples of North Carolina, Cheryl Hale and Barbara Spencer of Lebanon, Ohio and Odessa Whited of Fairfield, Ohio; grandchildren Chad Hensley, Lisa Parks, Cindy Scott, Jeff Lovely, Theresa Click, Sarah Russell, Terri Spencer-Blanton, Mathew Spencer, Pamela Thomas, Christina Braccaares, Zachary Lueger, Emily Lueger, Sonya Allison, Brenton Taylor and Sammy Jo Taylor; 22 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. Receiving of friends will be held Sunday afternoon, March 9, 2014 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 6:00pm with Pastor Anthony Wade officiating. Burial will be held Monday, March 10, 2014 at 11:00am at the Turtlecreek Cemetery just north of Lebanon.
