Obituary of George Taylor

TAYLOR, George Evan age 87 of Morrow, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, December 31, 2011 with his family by his side. Born September 19, 1924 in Pleasant Plain, Ohio; George was the son of Jesse and Jennie (Stanfield) Taylor and was retired from the General Motors Company, George was former Morrow Village Council member, a member of the Grace Community Presbyterian Church and a member of the Morrow Masonic Lodge. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruth Ailene (Frederick) Taylor, brother John Taylor, sisters Verna Osborn, Ruby Goocey and Doris Osborn and loving daughter-in-law Lisa Taylor; George leaves behind his sons John (Tina) Taylor of Blanchester, Ohio, Bill of West Chester, Ohio and Jeff Taylor of Morrow, Ohio; sister Tacy Rice of Morrow, Ohio, six grandchildren - Tracy, Zachary, Jennie, Melissa, Christina and Ruth and six great-grandchildren Tony, Allyssa, Evan, Kiersten, Jacob and Tamara and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Tuesday evening January 3, 2012 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. A Masonic Service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday evening January 3, 2012 at 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 12:00pm with burial to follow in the Morrow Cemetery, Morrow, Ohio.
