Obituary of Donald Traurig

TRAURIG, Donald age 81 of Maineville, Ohio passed peacefully Monday afternoon February 24, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born January 26, 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Donald was the son of Wenzel and Nellie (Sizemoor) Traurig and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Donald was a retired union steward from the Formica Company with 39 years of service. In his spare time, Donald enjoyed going to casinos, playing poker and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents and loving wife Carol Jean (Williams) Traurig in 2013, Donald leaves behind his sons Stephen (Donna) Traurig of Deer Park, Ronald Traurig of Maineville and Terry (Nan) Traurig of Blanchester, daughter Donna (Dwayne) Bishop of Morrow, Ohio; sister carolyn (Ron) Juillerat of Maineville; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Receiving of friends will be held Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with Reverend Kevin Waters officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
