Obituary of Everett Ray

RAY, Everett E. Jr. age 88 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Monday morning, February 10, 2014 at his residence. Born November 6, 1925 in Midland, Ohio, Everett was the son of Everett and Mary (Taylor) Ray and was a loving and devoted husband, father and brother. Everett was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a retiree with 39 years of service from Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Everett was a lifelong resident of Warren County and a member of Kings Point Church of God in Maineville, Ohio. Preceded in death by his parents, son Kevin Ray in 1982 , daughter Robin Ray in 1984 and sisters Emily Spitler, Eilene Farley, Betty Hamilton, Opal Edwards and Margaret Cochran; Everett leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years Bonnie (Blevins) Ray of Lebanon, Ohio; sister Mary Curtis of Wilmington, Ohio; very special friends Patty and Al Cridge of Kettering and their chosen grandchildren Casey Morter, Kelli Carter, John, Mark Jacob Ray and Matt Cridge and many friends and neighbors. Receiving of friends will be held Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 12:00pm with Reverend Randy Ballard officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
