Obituary of Adeline Smith-Morris

SMITH-MORRIS, Adeline (nee Abner) age 79 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Kindred Nursing & Rehab (formerly known as Lebanon Country Manor) with her family by her side. Born June 17, 1934 in Owsley County, Kentucky, Adeline was the daughter of Sidney and Roberta (Gabbard) Abner and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Adeline was a retired inspector with the Monsanto Company in Sharonville and a member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Clarksville, Ohio. Preceded in death by her parents, first husband Elmer Eugene Smith, sister Rosalee Baker and sister-in-law Phyllis HInes; Adeline leaves behind her loving husband Kenneth Morris of Lebanon, Ohio; son Kenneth Eugene (Lavonne) Smith of Wilmington, Ohio; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Receiving of friends will be held Wednesday evening November 13, 2013 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 11:00am with interment to follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
