Obituary of Jerry Siler

SILER, Jerry W. age 63 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Dayton VA Medical Center. Born April 13, 1950 in Jellico, Tennessee, Jerry was the son of George and Faye (Carver) Silver and a retired insurance agent with Western Southern Life. Jerry was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era, a member of the Lebanon Masonic Lodge, Lebanon BPOE Elks Club, Cincinnati Antioch Shrine and the V.F. W. Post 6069 where he had been a past district commander. Preceded in death by his father, brother Jonny and Ricky Siler and sister Leona Siler; Jerry leaves behind his loving wife Vicki (Naples) Siler of Lebanon, Ohio; daughter April (David) Ridel of Lebanon, Ohio;his mother Faye Siler of Tennessee; brother Phillip Siler of Tennessee; sister Susie Hamblin of Tennessee; grandchildren Jerry, Brenda, Anthony, Michael, Carrie and JoJo Ridel and many other family members and friends. Receiving of friends will be held Monday, November 11, 2013 from 5:00pm until 6:30pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. A Masonic service will be held at 6:30pm followed by funeral services at 7:00pm with Pastor Steve Tufts officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 1:00pm in the Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio. The family has requested memorial donations be directed to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 3229 Burnet Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229.
