Obituary of Izetta Whitley

WHITLEY, Izetta J. (nee Cumbo) age 91 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties with her family by her side. Born June 27, 1922 in Huntington, West Virginia, Izetta was the daughter of Sherman and Lona (Minnix) Cumbo and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Izetta dedicated her life to raising her children and managing the family farm. Preceded in death by her parents and husband Russell D. Whitley in 1989, Izetta leaves behind her loving children Russell, Ronald and David Whitley and Karla Morgan, numerous grandchildren and other family members. Calling hours will be held Friday, October 25, 2013 from 10:30am until 12:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will held at the funeral home at 12:00pm with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Burial will follow in the Turtlecreek Cemetery just north of Lebanon. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Butler and Warren County Hospice for their loving and compassionate care during a most difficult time.
