Obituary of Holly Kennard

KENNARD, Holly "Bub" age 95 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Monday evening, October 14, 2013 at Hospice of Butler and Warren County with his family by his side. Born August 29, 1918 in Morgan County, Kentucky, Bub was the son of Ashton and Julie (Pelfrey) Kennard and was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Bub was a lifelong resident of Lebanon, Ohio , a member of the National Pole Bending and Barrel Racing Hall of Fame and a charter member of the Central States Horse Show Association. Bub was retired from the Carrollton Envelope Division of the Kimberly Clark Company where he worked in maintenance and was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and friend to all who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents, son Terry Lee Kennard in 1952, brothers Homer and Aubrey Kennard, sisters Polly Jamison and Irene Robinson and beloved K9 companion Kory; Bub leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years Doris (Neubauer) Kennard of Lebanon, Ohio; sister Georgie Putnam of Florida and many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call on the family Thursday evening October 17, 2013 from 5:00pm until 7:30pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 7:30pm.
