Obituary of Augusta King

KING, Augusta W. "Bud" age 78 of Maineville, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Ohio Veteran's Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Born May 30, 1935 in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, Bud was the son of Elberta and Bessie (Geizel) King and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Bud served his family proudly during the Korean War in the U.S. Army and was retired from the Ford Motor Company in Sharonville, Ohio where he worked as a Transmission Specialist. Preceded in death by his parents and sisters Ethel Brock and Anna Hilton; Bud leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years Martha (Hopkins) King of Maineville, Ohio; sons Dennis (Cherry) King of Kentucky and Terry King of Maineville, Ohio; daughters Sharee Hodge of Maineville, Ohio and Tina (Lester) Duncan of New Vienna, Ohio; sister Dorothy Kilburn of Morrow, Ohio; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Sunday evening, August 18, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Full Gospel Church of God, Deerfield Road, Lebanon, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 19, 2013 at 1:30pm at the church with Reverend Ray Napier and Reverend Roy Middleton officiating. Burial will follow in the Morrow Cemetery, Morrow, Ohio.
