Obituary of Ronald Sweeney

SWEENEY, Ronald M. age 75 of Franklin, Ohio passed peacefully Sunday evening, August 4, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born August 31, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio, Ron was the son of Christian and Elsie (Jones) Sweeney and was a retired engineer from the Sci-Tex Corporation in Dayton. Ron had also worked for NCR and the Kodak Company. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Marion Sweeney, sisters Maxine Frey and Irene Barber; Ron leaves behind his nephew Michael Griffith of Kentucky; niece Deborah (Douglas) Folck of Lebanon, Ohio; great nephews Chad and Tom Folck and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Wednesday evening, August 7, 2013 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 7:00pm with Pastor Steve Tufts officiating. Burial will be held Thursday in the Lebanon Cemetery.
