Obituary of Harold Ellis

ELLIS, Harold Dale "Buzz" age 92 of HIllsboro and formerly of Lockland, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at this residence with his family by his side. Born October 15, 1920 in Lockland, Ohio, Buzz was the son of Dale and Eva (Castner) Ellis and was a retired electrician with the City of Reading with 35 years of service. Buzz was a proud WWII Veteran of the US Army and truly enjoyed his retirement home at Rocky Fork Lake. Preceded in death by his parents, first wife Lena Ellis, brother Jack Ellis, sister Mildred Coffey and step daughter Debbie Kilburn; Buzz leaves behind his loving wife of 17 years Vivan (Haddix) Ellis of HIllsboro, Ohio; sons Harold "Sonny" (Beth) Ellis, Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohoi and Marty Lewis Ellis of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter Constance Marie (Dan) Niehaus of Mason, Ohio; sister Gladys "Sis" Graham of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister-in-law Margaret Ellis of California; step sons Rod, Jim and Randy Redman and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Friday, July 5, 2013 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 7:00pm with Pastor Randy Ballard officiating. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery, Ohio.
