Obituary of Jerry Mason

MASON, Jerry Wayne age 66 of Maineville, Ohio passed peacefully Friday evening, June 21, 2013 with his family by his side. Jerry was the son of Ed and Chesley (Thacker) Mason,a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother and was retired from the Tyco Corporation in Cincinnati. Jerry enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sports and school activities, antiquing, watching the Cincinnati Bengals and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. Jerry attended the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Iona Mirick; Jerry leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years Janice (Baker) Mason of Maineville; children Sherry Bryant of Louisville, Kentucky, Regina (Dave) Mason of Maineville and Brian (Tammy) Mason of Independence, Kentucky; grandchildren Ashley, Jeremy, Courtney, Sydney, Layne and Emma; five great-grandchildren; brother Ivos (Mary) Mason of Oklahoma; sisters Barbara (Henry) Mirick of Louisville, Kentucky, Zelda (Ron) Richardson of Seattle, Washington, Ivalene Baker of Knoxville, Tennessee, Rebecca (Morris) Godwin of Georgia and Belinda (Eugene) Kaufman of Clarksville, Ohio and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Sunday evening, June 23, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 24, 2013 at 12:00pm at the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon with Pastor David Frasure officiating. Burial will foll ow in the Maineville Cemetery, Maineville, Ohio.
