Obituary of Barbara Bishop

BISHOP, Barbara Alice (nee Gabe) age 70 of Kettering, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Born September 9, 1942 in Lebanon, Ohio, Barbara was the daughter of Ralph and Thelma (Ryan) Gabe and was a retired sales associate with Macy's. Barbara was a graduate of Lebanon High School, a member of the Beavercreek Eagles Lodge and loved spending time with her card club friends and family. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Preceded in death by her mother Thelma (Ryan) Gabe and son Timothy Henderson; Barbara leaves behind her son James (Jennifer) Bishop, Jr.of Virginia Beach, Virginia; daughters Kimberly Gaskill of South Carolina and Jennifer Jones of Kettering, Ohio; father Ralph Gabe of Lebanon, Ohio; daughter-in-law Debbie Henderson of Lebanon, Ohio; brother Billy Gabe of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Taylor, Timmy, Travis, Ben, Abbigail, Nicole and Danny; great-grandchildren Dylan, Cody, Aubrey, Kash, Presleigh and Chassity. Friends may call on the family Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with burial to follow in the Lebanon Cemetery.
