Obituary of William Kilburn

KILBURN, William H. Jr. age 86 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Monday, May 20th, 2013 at the Otterbein Retirement Community. Born July 9, 1926 in Beattyville, Kentucky, William was the son of William H. Sr. and Elsie (Angel) Kilburn and was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. William was a graduate of Miami University and University of Tuscon, Arizona, a self-employed truck driver for over 30 years and a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Preceded in death by his parents, step mother Julie Kilburn, brother Clarence Kilburn and sister Thelma Sees; William leaves behind his sons Brice (Cathy) Kilburn of Morrow, Ohio and Arlyn (Cindy) Kilburn of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Wyn (Harold) Long of Richmond, Kentucky, Krista (Greg) Flum of Oregonia, Ohio and Diana Walker of Columbus, Ohio; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Thursday evening, May 23, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 8:00pm with Reverend Tim Noble officiating. Burial will be held Friday, May 24, 2013 in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
