Obituary of Melvin Jones

JONES, Melvin age 80 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Friday, May 17, 2013 at his residence. Born August 16, 1932 in Oregonia, Ohio, Melvin was a lifelong resident of Warren County. Melvin was a former member of the Lebanon Eagles Lodge 1395 and a member of the Laborers Union Local 534. Melvin enjoyed watching WWE Smack-Down Wrestling and was the last of the eleven Jones children. Preceded in death by his parents and 10 Jones siblings, Melvin leaves behind his special nieces Sonya Surface and Tonya Morgan both of Lebanon, Ohio; nephews Wilbur Richardson and Steve Palmer; brother Elvin Mountjoy and sister Dessie Warren both of Hamilton, Ohio and many other nieces, nephews and other family members. Friends may call on the family Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with Pastor Steve Tufts officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery.
